Klexo is the operating system for professional-services firms — built by KodeNerds, and built because we needed it ourselves. It carries a client from the first sales call all the way to closed books and payroll, as one continuous record, so the business stops living in a dozen disconnected tools.
Why we built Klexo
Every firm that does client work runs the same loop: win it, deliver it, bill it, book it. But almost nobody runs that loop in one place. The pipeline lives in one tool, the projects in another, invoices somewhere else, and the accounting in a spreadsheet that someone reconciles by hand at month-end. Every handoff is a chance to re-key data, drop a detail, or fall out of sync.
We kept hitting that wall running our own firm — so we built the platform we wished existed: one system where each step of the engagement feeds the next, and where finance is a by-product of the work instead of a separate exercise.
The closed loop
The idea at the center of Klexo is simple: a client should move through your business as a single record. The estimate becomes the project. The delivered work becomes the invoice. The invoice, the payroll run, and the vendor bill all post themselves to the ledger. Nothing gets exported, re-entered, or reconciled between systems — because there’s only one system.
That’s what “operating system for a firm” means to us. Not another app in the stack. The layer the whole business runs on.
